It is my great honor to serve as President of the 19th Annual Congress of Japan Robotic Surgery Society, which will be held in February 2027 at the Kobe International Conference Center and Exhibition Hall.
Robotic surgery has expanded rapidly both in Japan and worldwide, accompanied by increasing patient demand. At the same time, we are entering a multimodality era, with multiple new robotic platforms emerging and novel technologies such as haptic feedback beginning to transform the field.
In this context, the theme of this meeting is “Mastering Robotic Surgery.”
We aim to provide a forum for each specialty to learn about high-quality robotic surgical care that meets patient expectations, as well as innovative techniques and perioperative management that push beyond current limits. From a cross-disciplinary perspective, this meeting will also serve as a platform for exchange ideas and address shared challenges in robotic surgery.
