Open symposia proposed by APICA participants will be held on site at the congress venue, with audience participation.
As this congress will be held jointly with the 132nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association of Anatomists (JAA) and participants of both meetings will be able to attend all sessions freely, the language used in open symposia should be English.

In selecting proposals, priority will be given to the following points:

•	Symposia that are appropriate for the theme of this congress, “Synergy and Emergence—Anatomy for Well-Being,” and that reflect the distinctive strengths of the Asia Pacific International Congress of Anatomists.
•	Symposia that give appropriate consideration to diversity, including gender, career stage, and international/geographical diversity, in the selection of speakers.

3.	Symposium speakers Name and affiliation
4.	Symposium title In principle, in English. A provisional title is acceptable.
5.	Aims and overview of the symposium Up to 1,200 characters in English. Please describe the intent and concept behind the program. This text will not be published in the abstract book. A separate overview for publication in the abstract book will be requested at a later date.
6.	Classification Select either “Research” or “Education.”

•	Presentations will be held on site and in person.
•	The language used should be English.
•	Each symposium slot will be approximately 110 minutes.
•	Please determine the organizers and chairs, up to two each, invite and select the speakers, and organize the symposium.
•	Each organizer may organize only one symposium. Please note that organizers may not serve as co-organizers of another symposium.
•	In principle, the meeting registration fee and the banquet fee will not be waived. Sessions that include international chairs and/or symposium speakers may be eligible for partial financial support up to a predetermined amount from the headquarters of the Japanese Association of Anatomists.(Revised on June 3)
•	Please organize each symposium with approximately three to five speakers.
•	Symposium proposals that bring together speakers from multiple countries, including countries in the Asia-Pacific region, are welcome.
•	Acceptance or rejection of proposals will be determined by the Program Committee.
•	If a proposal overlaps in content or planned speakers with another symposium proposal, the Program Committee may coordinate the proposals. If you have any specific requests regarding the symposium structure, please indicate them; the Program Committee will consider them.

•	All proposals must be submitted online.
•	For open symposium registration, please follow the instructions on the registration screen and complete all required fields.
•	For the aims and overview section, please prepare the text in advance using Word or similar software, then enter it directly into the “Aims and Overview” field.
•	Please note that the character count calculated in Word may differ from the count calculated by the registration system.
•	Environment-dependent characters, such as characters available only on Mac or Windows, may not be displayed correctly in the “Aims and Overview” field.
•	After the application period has ended, no registration or revision of open symposium proposals will be possible.

•	After registration, an email confirming receipt of your application will be sent. Please ensure that you can receive emails sent from “@gmail.com.”
•	If you do not receive an email within 48 hours of registration, please contact the Congress Secretariat, Open Symposium Section.

•	During the registration period, you may modify or confirm your registered information as many times as necessary. Please access the modification page using the URL provided in the email confirming receipt of your application.

•	Depending on your network environment, you may not be able to register your proposal through the website. If you cannot register from a computer at a hospital or similar institution, please try again using a computer at home or another network environment.
•	Access may be concentrated on the deadline day, which could interfere with registration. Please complete your registration well in advance.
•	The secretariat cannot be held responsible for errors entered by registrants. Before clicking the registration button, please check again to ensure that there are no omissions or mistakes.

•	Notification of acceptance is scheduled for late July.
•	The number of sessions is limited, and not all proposals may be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
