Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite you to attend the Society of Thoracic Surgeon (STS) and the Asian Society for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (ASCVTS) Aortic Summit 2026. The conference will be held in the Hamamatsucho Convention Center, Tokyo, Japan from November 13th (Fri) to November 14th (Sat), 2026. This is the second joint meeting of both societies, consisting of full-two-days presentation and discussions, focusing diagnosis and treatment of thoracic aortic lesions, including endovascular approach. The meeting is designed for all individuals involved in the treatment of aortic disease – including cardiac anesthesiologists, CT residents, perfusionists, ICU and OR nurses, in addition to cardiothoracic surgeons.
In 2024 meeting, over 250 people from 18 countries had participated in the meeting. Thirty-five invited faculties from all over the world shared their expertise and achievements. We had 7 symposiums, one wet-lab, and one video sessions. Fifteen young surgeons received the Thoracic Surgery Foundation Awards.
We would like to encourage young people to join in the STS-ASCVTS Aortic Summit 2026. We look forward to welcoming you in November, Tokyo.
